We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Developer Evangelist to join our team and drive the marketing and promotion efforts for our innovative SQL generation library,

SQLa (SQL Aide). SQLa is a powerful TypeScript-based library that simplifies SQL code generation and enhances database-related workflows. As a Fractional CMO and Developer Evangelist, you will play a key role in building our brand presence, expanding our user base, and increasing awareness of SQLa among developers and businesses.

We love using generative AI and we only want someone who will help reduce costs with usage of AI.

Responsibilities:

* Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for SQLa to establish it as a leading SQL generation library. Identify target markets, competitive positioning, and marketing channels.

* Content Creation: Create compelling and engaging content, including blog posts, articles, tutorials, videos, and social media posts, to showcase SQLa's capabilities and promote its usage in various scenarios.

* Developer Evangelism: Engage with developer communities, forums, and events to promote SQLa and demonstrate its value proposition. Build relationships with developers, answer questions, and address feedback.

* Brand Awareness: Increase brand awareness by actively participating in relevant tech communities, conferences, and events. Collaborate with influencers and industry experts to amplify SQLa's reach.

* User Acquisition: Implement strategies to attract new users, such as targeted advertising, search engine optimization, and referral programs. Track and analyze user acquisition metrics.

* User Engagement: Nurture existing user relationships through newsletters, webinars, and community engagement, fostering a sense of community among SQLa users.

* Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in marketing software libraries, developer tools, or related technology products, with a focus on developer-oriented marketing and outreach.

* Strong understanding of developer communities, open-source software, and developer-related platforms (e.g., GitHub, Stack Overflow).

* Proficiency in creating technical content targeted at developers, such as blog posts, tutorials, and technical documentation.

* Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, and database concepts to effectively communicate SQLa's value to developers.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with developers and build a vibrant community around SQLa.

* A track record of successful marketing campaigns and user acquisition in the tech industry.

Project Duration: The project will be an ongoing, part-time engagement, with an initial commitment of 3 to 6 months, subject to extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
