Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Software Developer to lead the development of a cutting-edge desktop application designed to provide users with a private, local, and secure environment for managing sensitive information. This application will allow users to download an executable compatible with both Windows and MacOS, enabling them to store private information securely on their local computer and interact with it using multiple local Large Language Model (LLM) implementations. Influenced by successful projects like Postman, Sublime, and Loom, our goal is to create a user-friendly, secure, and efficient platform that stands out in the market.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of a cross-platform desktop application that meets project specifications and user requirements.
Implement robust security measures to ensure all user data is encrypted and securely managed within the local environment.
Integrate multiple local LLM implementations, providing users with flexible and powerful options for interacting with their data.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Work closely with QA engineers to develop testing protocols to ensure the application's functionality and security.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in desktop application development and cybersecurity.
Desirable Skills
Experience with Electron or similar frameworks for building cross-platform desktop applications.
Knowledge of local data storage, management, and encryption techniques specific to desktop environments.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
