Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing machine learning algorithms, manipulating large datasets, and translating technical insights into actionable recommendations for a broad audience.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning algorithms for our data-driven products.
Manipulating and preprocessing large datasets to prepare them for machine learning tasks.
Visualizing data and model outcomes in a manner that is clear and insightful.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into our products and services.
Presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a comprehensible manner.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or R.
Experience with popular ML libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.
Solid understanding of data structures (e.g., arrays, lists, dictionaries).
Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms and their implementation.
Knowledge of model performance metrics and optimization techniques.
Proven experience in creating informative plots and visualizations.
Understanding of techniques like data normalization, feature selection, and dimensionality reduction.
Experience with NLP techniques and deep learning architectures.
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Knowledge of database systems and data warehousing tools.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and model validation techniques.
