I had developer build an app for me which is not working properly.
We ingest scraped data into a mongo DB, we then send this to OpenAI to create embeddings. Those embeddings are stored in a locally hosted weaviate DB.
When we make a chat request we query the weaviate Db with OpenAI and the mongo DB to give us the links to the scraped articles.
The output form the chat should be based on the quesry. If we ask it for infomraiton then it should reply from what it knows in the weaviate DB AND OpenAI DB. IF the user requests the links to the articles, we should give them the links.
The problem is the responses are currently not good.
I need someone who is proficient with this set up to trouble shoot why are we getting these results and fix it. See attached samples.
Please do not contact me and say your stack is not good and you want to rebuild everything from scratch with a different stack. If we need to tweak our stack fine, but too many devs can only do a simple setup in their own way, that's not who I'm looking for. I'm looking for a real dev with experience in LLMs.
