We will teach you how to make smart assumptions and dive into solving problems instead of overanalyzing a situation. What you will be helping us with, among other things:

• Improve our automated campaign steering driving home every flight, on target, on time.
• Build a mean hybrid interest signals data machine with us. 
• Understand our rich internal Recommendations-ML-Engine. Work on classical (non-)linear optimization problems through tabular modeling, forecasting, normalization, and NLP. 
• Extract every ounce of entertainment intelligence from our recommendation system based on massive user and item data. 
• Draw from years of data engineering excellence and a treasure trove of outstanding quality data you can model on from day one.
• Iterate with boring technology to keep solutions simple. Snowflake, Python, Pytorch, Scipy, XGBoost. 
• Build prototypes based on smart assumptions in three days to outperform the SoTA in three months.
• Steal liberally from basic research instead of attempting it yourself. 

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• You will stay enrolled at a German university for at least one year.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Cultural interview (45 min)

Do we fit together? Let's understand who we are and what drives us forward. We will dive into company culture and the question you have about JustWatch.

Technical interview (60 min)

You will meet our CTO, Dom. He will evaluate your technical understanding. This meeting is also your chance to figure out more about our technology.

Technical task (60 min)

After the technical interview, we will provide you with a small take-home task, which Dom will discuss afterward.
