Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the analysis of data collected from over 10,000 test-takers each year participating in professional certification tests in Massachusetts. These tests are designed to ensure the competence and integrity of non-medical personnel responsible for medication distribution to patients served by various government departments and agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Psychometrician and Database Administrator to oversee the analysis of two certification tests: a 30-question pretest with 12 versions and a test bank, and a 50-question certification test with 15 versions and a test bank.
- Utilize statistical techniques to examine test performance data, assess trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Work closely with the Psychometrician to ensure the validity, reliability, and fairness of test results.
- Identify and address potential biases in the data, ensuring that certification testing is unbiased and culturally competent.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on test performance and candidate results.
- Continuously improve data analysis methodologies and contribute to the enhancement of our certification testing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in an educational or testing environment.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, or SPSS.
- Background in healthcare, public health, or pharmaceutical compliance is a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding data integrity and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The data you analyze will impact the certification of over 14,000 test-takers annually in the state of Massachusetts.
Note:
This is a part-time position with the potential for growth as our certification program expands. The Part-Time Data Analyst will work closely with our team and test validation vendors to ensure the success of our certification process, impacting the healthcare professionals who serve various departments in Massachusetts.
