As opposed to fine-tuned models or Dreambooth-based models, vanilla models are generalistic models that have not been trained to generate any particular specific kind of image. For the sake of simplicity, vanilla models are essentially just the different Stable Diffusion versions (v1.4, v1.5, etc.) that the Stability.AI has released.
