We are seeking an experienced and visionary Solutions Consultant specializing in leveraging generative AI to revolutionize business operations and drive scalable growth. You will play a critical role in leading and executing projects that harness the power of artificial intelligence to enhance current workstreams, optimize processes, and uncover innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, and business stakeholders, to implement generative AI strategies that drive operational efficiency, scalability, and business success. You will also be responsible for single-handedly constructing automated processes and delivering solutions.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify business challenges and opportunities where generative AI can provide unique and creative solutions.
• Drive the development and execution of generative AI solutions, working closely, often hands on, with business and technical teams to develop and deploy.
• Build automation to optimize business processes and data flow. Leverage middleware platforms to connect systems. Comfortable using no code tools. Coding ability a plus.
• Manage projects from conception to deployment. Define project scopes, create timelines, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders to address any project-related challenges or issues.
• Ensure ongoing maintenance and successful delivery of running programs, executing day-to-day tasks and providing necessary support for program operations.
• Maintain thorough documentation and track the progress of all program activities and deliverables.
• Evaluate the impact of generative AI initiatives on business operations, measure performance metrics, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.

• 1-3 Months:
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Opportunity Identification: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various business functions to identify at least three key challenges or opportunities where generative AI can deliver unique and impactful solutions. Gather detailed requirements.  
• Initiate AI Solution Development and Achieve Quick Win: Begin the hands-on development and execution of generative AI solutions for the identified opportunities, working closely with business and technical teams. Successfully implement at least one solution.
• AI Awareness and Adoption: Partner with the team to lead at least one knowledge sharing session or workshop designed to educate team members about the capabilities and benefits of AI, thereby fostering a culture of learning and AI adoption within the organization. 
• Framework Establishment: Establish effective communication channels, policies, and a general framework for the use and management of Generative AI within Varicent in partnership with the team.  
• Technology Assessment and Recommendations: In partnership with the team, conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current state of technology in use at Varicent. Based on this assessment and an understanding of current trends and best practices in AI technology, provide informed recommendations on additional or alternative technologies to consider for future implementation.

• 4-6 Months:
• Stakeholder Engagement and Solution Refinement: Continuously engage with stakeholders to refine and further develop the identified generative AI solutions based on feedback and initial outcomes. Identify three more key challenges or opportunities where AI can provide solutions and scope them in detail. 
• AI Solution Development and Impact Demonstration: Continue the development and execution of generative AI solutions, ensuring at least two more solutions are successfully implemented. These quick wins should provide tangible evidence of the positive impact of AI solutions on business processes and outcomes. 
• AI Adoption and Capacity Building: In partnership with the team, Facilitate additional knowledge-sharing sessions or workshops to build on the initial AI awareness campaign, focusing on upskilling team members in AI capabilities and practical applications. Aim to establish a strong foundation of AI understanding and proficiency within the organization. 
• Framework Refinement and Policy Development: In partnership with the team, refine and update the established framework based on learnings from the first three months. Develop comprehensive policies that will guide the use, management, and ethical considerations of AI within Varicent. 
• Technology Implementation and Evaluation: Implement at least one of the recommended additional or alternative technologies. Begin a systematic evaluation of its effectiveness and compatibility with existing systems and business needs.

• 7 Months & Beyond:
• Strategic AI Integration: Strategically integrate the developed AI solutions into core business functions, demonstrating clear improvements in efficiency, decision-making, and innovation. 
• AI Solution Optimization: Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented AI solutions and make necessary optimizations. Each "quick win" should have transitioned into a long-term, sustainable solution that drives significant business impact. 
• AI Culture Consolidation: In partnership with the team, establish a thriving AI culture, where a majority of team members are not only aware of AI but actively incorporate AI in their work processes. Offer advanced workshops to those showing high proficiency. 
• Framework and Policy Enhancement: In partnership with the team, eEnhance the framework and policies to accommodate the evolving AI capabilities and requirements. Ensure these structures facilitate efficient AI use and comply with emerging ethical guidelines and legal regulations concerning AI. 
• Technology Review and Future Planning: in partnership with the team, conduct a thorough review of all AI-related technologies in use. Based on their performance and the evolving needs of the organization, provide a future technology roadmap that outlines proposed tech acquisitions, upgrades, or phase-outs.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. 
• A combination of in-depth understanding of potential applications of generative AI, a solid understanding of business processes, and strong program management experience.  
• 5+ years of large-scale technology and innovation projects with engineering and product/business teams OR 5+ years support/development experience  
• Knowledge and understanding of AI capabilities and their applications in business. 
• Understand, analyze, and connect different IT systems using middleware platforms to optimize business processes and data flow. 
• Ability to design, develop, test, and debug light-weight software and scripts that meet business needs. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively at all levels across technical and non-technical teams.  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and develop effective solutions. 
• Project management experience with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
