About the team: The core responsibility of the agent product team is to ensure that our field management team is equipped with relevant tools and information to service our merchant partners efficiently and quickly. Our two key stakeholders are our merchants and our agents and we strive towards building a seamless and efficient system to onboard and serve them.
Our primary focus is on building a best in class product for end lifecycle management of an agent starting from his onboarding, tasks management, payouts and career progression. From the merchant partners’ perspective our goal is to deliver quick and efficient service for product deployment and maintenance.
About the role: We’re looking for top data scientists capable of using ML and other techniques to design, evangelize, and implement state-of-the-art solutions for never-before-solved problems.
Expectations/ Requirements
1.Build and strengthen relationships with functional leaders in sales, product, growth, risk and collections by identifying areas where analytics could help solve existing problems or strengthen business operations·
2.Apply problem solving frameworks to break the complex business problems faced by the BUs and organization in smaller more manageable problems and translate the business problem in to data and analytics problem·
3.Identify various business opportunities and apply analytics to optimize conversions and risk·
4.Generate actionable recommendations based on huge platform data and communicate the insights generated by the teams·
5. Share reports and dashboards with business stakeholders to empower them to make data driven decisions·
6. Manage transformation projects that help to improve top line or bottom line through an analytical solution·
7. Be the champion of data and insight led decision making in the organization and drive change management efforts to bring stakeholders on board·
8.Manage large teams of business analysts and modeler to deliver analytical solutions and data driven insights to the business stakeholders.
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role ·
1. 4-5 years of experience into data science field in commonly used Traditional classical techniques and New-age ML techniques·
· Python Proficiency - Pandas Library, Data wrangling, Plotting, Analysis
· Statistical and ML - Regression and Decision Trees Techniques
· End to End Model Training and Measuring Model Performance on Real Business Problems
· SQL Proficiency - Efficient Database querying, Querying multiple databases
2. Understanding of the intuition/logic/math/stats behind these methods·
3. Experience with PySpark, experience with distributed system like Hive/ Parallel Processing in Python is plus
