Fanatics Collectibles is looking for Director, Generative AI for our growing Operations team. The Director, Generative AI, will lead the integration of AI tools and techniques into photo editing and content creation processes, foster innovation, manage relationships with external partners, and drive the successful implementation of AI-driven imaging solutions. This role will involve leveraging your in-depth knowledge of generative AI technologies to enhance the photo editing and content creation processes.
Responsibilities
- Apply your expertise in generative AI technologies to identify opportunities for integrating AI tools and techniques into the photo editing and content creation processes. This includes understanding the capabilities and limitations of generative AI algorithms and finding ways to optimize their use in the context of visual storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to evaluate and select appropriate AI tools, software, and equipment required for implementing AI-driven imaging solutions. This involves researching and testing different AI solutions, considering factors like performance, accuracy, scalability, and compatibility with existing workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging techniques in photo editing and generative AI. Continuously explore new methods and tools to enhance visual storytelling through innovative editing techniques and AI-driven approaches. This includes attending conferences, reading research papers, and engaging with the AI community to remain at the forefront of developments in the field.
- Foster and manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and technology platforms that provide AI-related services or solutions. This involves identifying suitable partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth collaboration to meet project goals and timelines.
- Oversee the implementation of AI-driven imaging solutions, ensuring efficient project management and successful delivery of outcomes. This includes setting project objectives, establishing timelines, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with other teams within the organization, such as the creative team, product development, and marketing, to identify opportunities for integrating generative AI technologies into various aspects of the business. Work closely with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with organizational goals and ensure successful adoption and integration.
- Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of AI-driven imaging solutions. This includes testing and validating the output of generative AI algorithms, identifying and resolving issues, and iterating on the implementation to improve performance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of ethical considerations and legal frameworks related to AI technologies. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations, and promote responsible and ethical use of AI within the organization.
