What is Body2Fit
Body2Fit is Bodygram’s solution for the apparel industry. Body2Fit aims to be the most trusted way of finding clothes that fit shoppers both online and offline. We want shoppers to have more confidence in our size recommendations, than in their own judgment after trying clothes on. We wish to eliminate the need for a fitting room, while helping people find clothes that fit their unique body.
About the Role
Body2Fit's mission is to become the most trusted way to find clothes that fit you. To achieve this, Bodygram has invested in building a virtual fitting room that allows shoppers to see — from home, on their phone — how garments truly fit their bodies. Bodygram's approach bridges the gap between machine learning and physical simulation. Instead of giving shoppers an idea of how a product might hypothetically look on their body (as generative AI does), Bodygram aims to provide shoppers with clear and trusted signals of how a specific product will fit their actual body. As a 3D Specialist on the Body2Fit team, you will support the development of Bodygram's Virtual Fitting Room by designing realistic 3D models of real-world garments. These models will become the cornerstone for the development of Bodygram's solution.
Responsibilities
- Model realistic (in terms of appearance but also in terms of fabrics and physical properties) 3D garments based on real garments.
- Work with tech packs from different providers to produce realistic
- Capture, design, and apply parametric textures to 3D garments.
- Experience with garment creation in Marvelous Designer or CLO3D
