Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to work with and instruct Software Engineers in the design and development of statistical machine learning or deep learning models. Design and develop statistical machine learning or deep learning models for computer vision, natural language processing, recommendation systems, or optimization. Design and develop engineering systems to deploy machine learning models. Perform deep analysis to provide insights and identify new business opportunities. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to work closely with engineering, analytics, product management teams to drive product development. Mentor junior team members. Advocate and employ newer, high performance machine learning techniques and technologies. Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $197,500 - $235,000 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience performing machine learning and data science analysis to provide insights and identify new business opportunities. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience performing machine learning and data science analysis to provide insights and identify new business opportunities.
Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience designing and building highly scalable distributed machine learning models; 3 years of professional experience developing statistical machine learning or deep learning models for computer vision, natural language processing, or recommendation systems; 3 years of professional experience developing data processing and data pipelines.
