Your Impact

We are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial operations. In this role, you will implement and maintain internal controls, conduct financial analysis, manage budgeting, maintain accurate accounting reports, engage in strategic planning, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. As the Controller, you will have a significant impact on the organization's financial health and support our business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and provide comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to the leadership team. 

• Manage and serve as the point of contact for finance and accounting vendors.

• Oversee all finance and controlling activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, general ledger, compliance and auditing, and financial reports.

• Supervise efficient and accurate payroll setup and processing.

• Oversee stock based compensation accounting.

• Manage monthly and yearly closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.

• Develop and maintain budgets.

• Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Manage banking and investment relationships.

• Establish internal finance and accounting policies and controls.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including GAAP and tax laws.

• Oversee the company's accounting, finance, and payroll systems (Rippling, Carta, etc.).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA certification preferred.

• 5+ years of experience as a controller or in a similar financial management role.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax laws.

• Proficient in financial software and accounting systems.

• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong sense of initiative.

• Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $200,000. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by competencies, experience, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
