About the role:
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist with a strong foundation in claims data analysis, applied statistics, and R/Python programming to join us in our commitment to develop cutting-edge counter-autonomy systems. You will be working with a growing multidisciplinary team of talented data scientists, statisticians, business analysts, engineers, and researchers to leverage a wide range of remote sensing and robotic data feeds to create advanced counter-autonomy systems. As a member of the team, you will work to perform exploratory data analyses, apply statistical models, and create robost autonomous systems based on a diversity of data inputs. We encourage new opportunities to shape our data science strategy, and value those who can lead and mentor junior members along the way.
Requirements
- Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in statistics, data science, applied mathematics, or a related field. Relevant work experience will be concidered on a case-by-case basis.
- At least 1+ years of work experience as a Data Scientist for PhDs, 3+ years of experience for M.S. degree holders, and 5+ years of experience for B.S. degree holders.
- Strong background in Python, R and SQL programming.
- Experience with fundamental data science models, including Generalized Linear Models (GLM), Mixed Models and analysis of longitudinal data.
- Experience developing code that is leveraged by a wider team and/or contributing to a collaborative code base.
- Strong communicator with excellent ability to work in a team environment.
- Eager to learn new techniques and work at the intersection of remote sensing analytics and a wide range of data science problems.
- Experience and understanding of remote sensing technology is a plus
