Voxel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join their cross-functional team. The TPM will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing various technical programs and projects across the organization. This includes collaborating with all teams, understanding technical requirements, and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent process management skills, and the ability to lead by influence. The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, applied computer vision, and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical program requirements, objectives, and success criteria.
- Manage technical programs and projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, to ensure all pieces are aligned for successful outcomes.
- Work closely with software engineers and other technical stakeholders to understand project complexities and challenges.
- Provide technical insights and expertise during program planning and execution to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead by influence and build strong working relationships with team members to promote collaboration and open communication.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks or issues that may impact project delivery or team performance.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project coordination.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work towards enhancing program management practices at Voxel.
- Explore opportunities to grow into a product management role based on performance and skill development.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Project Manager in a fast-paced technology-focused organization.
- Strong technical background and previous exposure to distributed systems and cloud-based technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical programs and projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent process management skills with the ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment while maintaining a strong focus on delivering results.
