As a VFX Producer you will be charged with partnering with our VFX and Post Production team, managing our vendors, budgets, scheduling support organizing and managing bids to studios, and ensuring our projects and deadlines are operating properly and met with excellence.

• Minimum Qualifications

We're entering a very exciting time as we have begun to commercialise our product and are now looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer to join our Santa Monica office. You will be teaming up with Paul McCourt our Head of Information Technology & Security to help implement new IT services as well as enhance and expand our current systems to enable us to scale the business securely. You will be a key point of contact between all departments within Flawless, which includes our scientific research, AI, development, post production, VFX, product design and senior management teams globally. The successful applicant will be expected to work autonomously helping to identify and resolve technical issues encountered across our organisation. 

Requirements

• Strong experience troubleshooting, configuring and resolving technical issues with the use of a help-desk management system such as Atlassian, Freshdesk or Zendesk. 
• A history of supporting and maintaining Windows and Mac operating systems throughout an organisation of 200+ users. 
• A background working with Google Workplace, Microsoft 365 as well as Active Directory/Group policy. 
• Knowledge and experience with single sign-on identity management services such as Okta, AzureAD, and PingIdentity. 
• Experience in administration of endpoint security protection services such as Webroot, CrowdStrike, and Defender. 
• Knowledge or switches, routers and wifi access points.

We are now looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer for our LA office to support us in enhancing our platform to make it more efficient and scalable, whilst supporting the rapid innovation happening within our Engineering, Film, and Science teams.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be spending the majority of your time working with our VFX, Production, and Science teams as well as the wider DevOps and Engineering function to contribute to the future architecture, design, and tooling within Flawless. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your work will be very varied whilst working on the latest tools and technology.

• Experience building and supporting infrastructure and services in AWS.

-Face tracking

-'Performance Transfer' - the fine tuning of the visual language transfer process

Flawless are looking for a Visual Dubbing Supervisor to head up projects and lead a team of Post Production Specialists.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Ingest/process media and set up projects while adhering to established organizational guidelines
• Task and team management
• Work closely with the Production Lead to ensure deadlines and high-quality standards are met
• Gain a deep understanding of the entire Vubbing process to assist with problem-solving as necessary
• QC and approval of every stage of the Vubbing process
• Liaise with UK supervisors to streamline processes in an ongoing fashion
• Shotgun / ShotGrid (preferable)

• Applicants should meet 5 or more of the following requirements:
• DaVinci Resolve (as an editing tool, rather than color correction)
• Fusion and knowledge of node-based tools
• Shotgrid (/Shotgun) or other task management database
• Experience in TV/film post-production workflow (from shot footage to final delivery)
• Experience in picture QC/review processes.
• Knowledge of file formats (esp. EXR)
• Knowledge of colorspace (esp. ACES)
• 1yr+ experience overseeing a team of 3 or more people in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time management
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements
• Good communication skills
• (bonus) Interest in language/linguistics

As a Research Scientist on the science team at Flawless, you will work with and lead a close-knit, passionate group of world-class individuals tackling some of the most challenging problems in deep learning, including Audio-driven 3D facial animation, GAN models for visual speech synthesis, speech-based modeling, multi-modal fusion for audio-visual learning, and a lot more.

Our work in automated visual translation is just the beginning, we’re developing countless exciting products based on the application of our proprietary, cornerstone research.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Ph.D. or Postdoctoral researcher in 3D Computer Vision, Speech Synthesis, Computer Graphics, or related field
• Demonstrable research experience with a strong publication record in major 3D Computer Vision, Speech Processing, and Computer Graphics venues and journals like CVPR, SIGGRAPH, or NeurIPS
• 6+ years of experience in Python with proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
• High degree of proficiency in math and statistical methods for signal processing
• Experience with to audio-visual learning, multimodal fusion, and/or 3D audio-driven face animation
• Outstanding communication skills to collaborate in a team with Scientist, Research/ML Engineers and VFX artists.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with speech modeling and speed synthesis with deep neural networks
• Generative and cross-domain attention models for 3D visual speech synthesis applications

• 3+ years of experience with audio synthesis techniques such as TTS (Text-to-Speech), SST (Speech-to-Speech translation), or voice conversion methods.
• Demonstrable research experience with a strong publication record in major Speech Synthesis, Speech Processing at venues such as ICASSP, Interspeech, or NeurIPS.
• Proficiency in linear algebra, deep learning, and numerical optimization.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or Tensorflow.
• Proficiency in compute platforms such as GCP or AWS.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with audio identity embedding, accent modeling, style-transfer, multi-language audio synthesis.

Requirements

• MS or Ph.D. in Visual Computing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related field3+ years of industry or research experience with deep learning and computer vision in one or more of the following:
• Neural networks and transfer learning
• Un-supervised or self-supervised learning
• Few/zero-shot learning for image synthesis
• Neural talking head synthesis
• Domain adaptation techniques for image face synthesis
• 3D vision3+ years of experience in Python with proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
• Experience developing tools and solutions at scale for visual effects or real-world computer vision problems
• Proficiency in statistical methods and numerical optimization
