CRM Requirements:
We currently use Salesforce as a system to register the interactions with our customers
CURRENT FUNCTIONALITY:
- We have a directory of a large customer
(Main account-subaccount-sub account-contacts)
- We have 4 process flows
(lead-opportunity-proposal-sale with some variations)
- We manually report interactions with customer
(interaction may be reported on account, opportunity, contact, lead)
- We use Einstein to sync email updates to the customer accounts
- We have dashboards
- Use of salesforce is not intensive, but we use it to keep every interaction documented.
CURRENT LIMITATIONS:
- We don’t generate quotations or contracts on Salesforce
- We don’t use marketing
- We don’t see sales, invoices, collection, or have anything else
DESIRED FUNCTIONALITY:
- We are about to open a line of service, which requires social media marketing and lots of leads
- We would like to:
1.- Generate email/Facebook/YouTube/google/linkedin/ or whatever marketing campaign
(preferably from the CRM)
2.- Receive all contacts as LEADS in the CRM
3.- I’d like that we could call the leads from the CRM, so we could keep track of “calls, successful calls, and time between calls)
4.- Do the conversion (lead-opportunity-sales-contract-collection)
So, in summary, I would like to use the existing salesforce platform, to support the new line of service, through the publishing of campaigns, and management of the leads, until conversion. Since we use Salesforce, I’m inclined to use it on the new line of service, but I’m not closed that it should be the only platform for that.

1.- To provide an overview of the capabilities of Salesforce and other CRMs
2.- Help us determine if Salesforce is the best SW tool to support our needs
3.- If so, help us undestand how to implement the functionality of the new line of service required
4.- Implement the former.
