The Social Media & Community Manager role is responsible for establishing and implementing strategies to drive conversation and engagement with key audiences across relevant social media and community channels. The ideal candidate will be an experienced builder who can establish a playbook and strategy on building awareness and creating demand by tapping community and social media, and knowing how to bring internal stakeholders together with external audiences to amplify our voice and POV in a fast-paced, AI market.  

This role is Chicago based hybrid.

This role will:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of Phrasee’s social media strategy, including scheduling, posting, and community managing on our primary social channel, LinkedIn, and building out thoughtful plans for growing awareness and engagement across new channels as appropriate, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.  
  • Lead social media community management, delivering 1:1 consumer response that builds brand affinity and drives engagement  
  • Build a content calendar, that is in sync with overall marketing calendar, to plan optimized content for each social and community channel including conceptualizing, writing and routing all posts for approvals when necessary 
  • Facilitate engaging customer discussions by launching and moderating online forums 
  • Partner with Content Marketing, Demand Gen, and Creative to create original Lo-Fi content to fuel engagement and performance across key social channels where our enterprise marketing buyers and customers hang out 
  • Engage with online community and respond to comments and requests when needed to drive the highest level of interaction and brand perception 
  • Collaboratively develop performance measurement and KPIs to measure and track success. Create dashboards and routinely report findings to cross-functional teams 
  • Support ad hoc social listening to deepen consumer understanding around specific topics and deliver insightful points of view back to Marketing, Customer Success, Sales and Product teams 
  • Stay up to date with the latest in martech, AI, generative AI, email marketing, growth marketing and target industry segments  
You have:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in social media marketing and community marketing in high-growth SaaS, enterprise software (required) 
  • Creative thinker who can bring a brand voice to life across a variety of social media touch points 
  • Strong buyer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the buyer at the heart of everything 
  • Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution  
  • Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages in a dynamic and compelling way (both externally to consumers and internally to key stakeholders)  
  • Proficient in design tools from Adobe Creative Cloud to Canva and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Experience with publishing and analytics tools for all social platforms 
  • Background in creating positive content that engages audiences 
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
  • Positive attitude is a must
