• Efficient document upload and processing system with an intuitive and easy to use interface including drag and drop.

2.2 AI-Powered Querying:

• Built on a Large Language Model similar to GPT.

• Users can input questions or prompts, with responses generated based on the content of uploaded documents.

• ChatAI provides meaningful, relevant answers, extracting and summarizing the required information from the documents.

• When ChatAI is not able to consider all the documents - it needs to show an error message explaining the limitation

• ChatAI needs to be able to identify common topics amongst the interviews - to do that it needs to be able to scan all the indexed documents and look

• ChatAI needs to be able to identify patterns and trends in customer feedback across the interviews to identify important insights.

• ChatAI should have a login page where a user-name and password are required

• ChatAI should be able to receive an audio file, transcribe it through the Open AI Whisper tool and provide insights about it

• ChatAI should never say it doesn't know the answer to a question - if there isn't enough information to answer a certain question it should ask for more information

• ChatAI needs to have sentiment analysis algorithms to identify positive, negative, or neutral sentiments expressed by customers during interviews.

• Whenever the answer is based on its external knowledge, ChatAI should specify in its response the source of the information.

• ChatAI should respond in a format that is specified by the user (e.g. a detailed paragraph)

• When an excel file is ingested, ChatAI should be able to identify correlations and patterns when asked

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

In this role, you'll be in a key position to make our ambitious goals in the AI-based photo editing space happen. By using innovative deep-learning techniques, you'll help deliver magical photo editing tools to our users, allowing them to edit the whole image or just a part of it. Tasks

• Work collaboratively as part of a team of machine learning engineers, frontend engineers, backend developers, designers, and quality assurance engineers to develop, implement, and improve Canva AI features such as Auto-Adjust, Smart Crop, Magic Eraser, and Magic Edit that will be used by more than 135 million users every month and make a global impact.
• Take ownership of the ML projects you are working on (refer to above’s list of established AI features): We have many novel products in our pipeline that we can’t write about publicly right now :-). You will be driving the planning of the project and iterating on the AI features to achieve the best and most magical solution possible in order to foster innovation at Canva.
• Staying updated on machine learning trends is crucial for your role. It ensures that the features we release in Canva empower users to design and edit photos using the latest technology and gives Canva an enthusiastic edge in a constantly evolving technological landscape.
• Study best practices, develop untried approaches, work on prototypes, e.g. for latent diffusion-based photo editing or for object detection and instance segmentation, and evaluate the performance.
• Experiment on large-scale cloud infrastructure (GCP and AWS) with high-end hardware, being mostly NVIDIA A10 and A100 Tensor Core GPUs.
• Analyze internal and external data sources, and generate, collect, and prepare data with commercial licensing in mind. Collaborate with our internal data generation team as well as with external partners.
• Set up data augmentation pipelines and perform hyper-parameter searches to build production-ready AI solutions that meet the quality requirements of photo editing effects in Canva.
• Implement automated testing and suitable metrics to monitor the performance of our AI features in production.
• Be part of our On-call rosters. At Canva, we believe a healthy on-call culture enables and empowers our engineers to give our users the best possible experience.

• You have a Master's (ideally Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science (or similar), focusing on machine learning. Published papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences would be a valuable addition.
• You have a solid understanding of computer vision, especially the concepts of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), transformers, generative adversarial networks, and diffusion models.
• Proficiency with the following technologies is required to be set up for success in this position: Deep learning frameworks (Pytorch gives bonus points, other frameworks like Tensorflow or JAX), Python 3, Numpy, OpenCV, Docker & Kubernetes.
• You substantially understand modern software engineering principles, Python 3 classes and inheritance, multithreading, testing, and QA to write clean code.
• You are familiar with convolutional neural networks for tasks such as image classification and segmentation: As a visual AI company, we primarily work with images and videos.
• Nice to have: Experience with JavaScript, node.js, react, typescript, or (WebGL) shaders to prototype new AI features in our internal, flexible, and easy-to-use testing environment.
• Our projects require picking up knowledge of the state-of-the-art of a specific ML topic quickly (Example 1, Example 2) since most projects start with a phase of literature research and communicating the context to the team (across timezones).
• You have a proven sense of ownership and are eager to find and develop novel solutions to challenging problems, such as developing ML models for processing large images (having up to 24 megapixels) in a memory-efficient and runtime-efficient manner proactively.
• You are an excellent communicator and teammate, keen to work with your colleagues and brainstorm ideas together.

We are a new certification authority, specialising in differentiating AI content from human written content. Our website is www.authorigin.co.uk. We want to celebrate human creativity, and hope that our customers, using our "brand mark" can charge a premium for their work, over AI/ChatGPT generated content.

Our customers are authors/poets/researchers .. etc. who want to prove that they are the "creative" brain behind a piece of work, and signal to their audience that they haven't used ChatGPT or others to write their project for them.

We have a shopify website to capture users, and get them to sign up. This is a basic starter page and we now need to create a new website/portal to lure customers (authors etc.), but also put them through our auditing process.

We are looking for developers who can help build this full stack for us, including potentially a new front end website.

Once a customer has been captured the website should then lead them through a process by which we can collect enough data on them/their project so that we can validate what they have done and approve that they haven't used ai tools to create the majority of the work. This process takes a few steps.

The first is a human verification stage. Prove who you say you are. We need a form where they can fill in details about themselves, including social media links etc. They will also go through some 3rd part tracking such as TrustID, which can be linked through an API. All this data, needs to be stored against the client at a "customer" level.

The next step is to start collecting their evidence. This needs to be in the form of a data storage solution. (potentially another 3rd party API can be used). They should have a login to the website portal for this. The users should be able to upload a variety of documents, images, drafts, story plans etc to the system. These should be timestamped when they are logged and then non-editable. The final draft of the work should also be uploaded to the system. Each user could have many past and ongoing projects in their documents folder.

The user should then be able to "submit" the evidence for auditing.

The user will then be invited to an interview, where a person will have verified the documents package, interrogate the author on the project and then approve or not the certification.

Perhaps as a second stage if not possible to start with: Once a final draft has been uploaded ideally: we then want a large language model to read the final draft and come up with 10 questions that can be given back to the user, in terms of a form, that the user must answer about the piece of work. We then want the AI to assess the answers to those questions, and suggest an confidence in the author score.

Once approved the author is given right to use our logo on their marketing materials. They will also get a landing page on our website which shows their profile to the wider public, and shows all of their titles that have been approved. This landing page can be linked to by a specially designed QR code, which they can also show on their marketing materials. They should then also be added to our interactive database of approved pieces of work, which is searchable by the public.
